We are currently seeking a dedicated, experienced, and highly-skilled Permanent Maintenance Supervisor for our fast-paced manufacturing facility. This position plays a critical role in ensuring that our operations run smoothly and efficiently by overseeing the maintenance and repair of our manufacturing equipment and systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of maintenance technicians, managing maintenance projects, and implementing preventive maintenance programs. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, as well as excellent project management, team management, and supervisory skills.
Responsibilities
1. Oversee and coordinate the daily operations of the maintenance department, ensuring all equipment is functioning correctly and efficiently.
2. Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and increase operational efficiency.
3. Conduct regular inspections of equipment and systems to identify and resolve issues before they escalate.
4. Supervise and guide a team of maintenance technicians, providing training and support as needed.
5. Manage maintenance projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
6. Conduct risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement appropriate safety measures.
7. Collaborate with other departments to optimize production and ensure the highest level of safety and efficiency.
8. Maintain detailed records of all maintenance work, including repairs, replacements, and preventive measures.
9. Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and quality standards.
Qualifications
1. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a maintenance supervisory role in the manufacturing industry.
2. Proficient in equipment maintenance, preventive maintenance, repairing, troubleshooting, and facility management.
3. Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
4. Proven experience in project management and team management.
5. Excellent supervisory skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
6. Ability to conduct thorough risk assessments and implement effective safety measures.
7. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues quickly and efficiently.
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with other departments.
9. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
10. Strong attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accurate records of all maintenance work.
11. Bachelor's degree in engineering, industrial management, or a related field is preferred.
