As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will perform highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment while acting as a technical support resource for the team when they have questions or need assistance. Leading as a role model, coaching and motivating, while providing both a reactive and proactive, multi-skilled service for our production team. The Maintenance Supervisor will also have ownership of their own projects/tasks to be completed in support of a facility that operates 24 hours a day, 5 days a week. This role will report directly to the Maintenance Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to prevent or limit production loss.
- Implement corrective actions for critical conditions or extended downtime.
- Pro-active and make a meaningful difference.
- Must be self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Be a constant support presence on the production floor, communicating regularly with leads and supervisors.
- Set team schedules to reduce overtime while maintaining workload and ensuring adequate support for production and operations.
- Manage call-ins and shift shortages by coordinating with other supervisors/shifts to ensure operations are properly supported.
- Maintain an up-to-date team schedule 4 weeks out, updating regularly, and communicating any staffing changes to the planner immediately.
- Regularly assess the equipment and facilities looking to identify issues and improvements and following with a work order.
- Ability to utilize multiple resources to perform tasks, identify parts, and support team.
- Exhibit and promote consistent communication between departments.
- Monitor daily team performance to ensure accuracy, completeness of tasks, efficient utilization of the CMMS, while maintaining a well-organized and productive work area.
- Maintain and promote a positive and supporting work environment by respectfully communicating and responding to employee issues and concerns in a timely manner.
- Recommend or initiate personnel actions (hires, discharges, disciplinary measures).
- Actively champion any continuous improvement initiatives by ensuring the team’s participation, compliance, and execution of initiatives.
- Support all team training initiatives, leading the training when necessary and reporting completion.
- Lead complex repairs, including coordinating with European technical support.
- Collaborate on new projects, improvements, processes, and/or procedures to support our facility, equipment, and/or personnel.
Competencies, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Proficiency in electrical, mechanical, and welding tasks.
- Adequately utilize electronic equipment and software. (i.e. PC, phone, email, CMMS, etc....)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and ability to pay attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding and ever-changing production environment with frequently changing priorities.
- Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, and ability to organize prioritize tasks and make appropriate decisions.
- Leads by example including demonstration of all job functions, with consistent enforcement of all company policies.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills for coaching and developing and employees; including disciplinary actions.
- Flexible availability, including weekends and off-hours
Education and Experience:
- Associate degree or equivalent education and/or related experience.
- 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience
- Supervisor Experience in a Manufacturing environment, 3+ years preferred.

Compensation Range: $75,000 - $85,000
$4,000 regional relocation bonus
The sign on bonus is paid after you’ve been with Ditsch USA for 91 days. The regional relocation bonus will be paid in two lump sum separate checks. 50% will be paid on the payroll after your 30th day and 50% on the payroll after your 91st day after you start employment with Ditsch USA. To retain the relocation bonus, you must remain employed by Ditsch USA for a period of 12 months after your start date. All compensation is subject to normal required and voluntary tax.
This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, and other job-related qualifications/skills.
