Compensation:   

• Starting pay range $30 to $40 per hour

• Monthly Attendance Bonus - $1 per hour worked
• Weekly Production Bonus - Variable - recent payouts have been $5 per hour worked, paid weekly

• Eligible for annual bonuses

Job Description: 

Zekelman is a family of companies — 100% domestic manufacturers — with a legacy dating back to 1877. Our subsidiary Atlas Tubelocated in North Kansas City, MO has a full-time Maintenance Supervisor - 2nd Shift position available.  

JOB SUMMARY:
Maintenance Group Supervisor must be able to perform all aspects of the maintenance function

DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Follow current work instructions. Trouble shoot, repair, replace and upgrade machinery.
  Plan, layout and repair equipment, diagnose problems, disassembly, replace parts, assembly, test and adjust.
• Complete all necessary paperwork on activities to support preventive maintenance program.
• Conduct general housekeeping to ensure cleanliness of area.
• Perform all work in a safe and efficient manner.
• Wear proper personal protective equipment.
• Train other employees
• Perform other duties as assigned.

SKILLS/COMPETENCIES:

• Ability to read and understand work rules, orders, instructions and all safety requirements.
• Prepare and complete paperwork legibly and accurately.
• Math skill including addition, subtraction, averaging, percentages and proportions.
• Read prints, drawings and schematics.
• Knowledge of mechanical operations.
• Operation of gears, gear boxes and speed reducers.
• Knowledge of bearing types and the replacement of bearings and cams.
• Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Ability to operate necessary equipment and machinery to perform quality job.
• Ability to use all available and necessary measuring devices and tools.
• Oral and written communications skills
