About the Job
- Plan and implement repairs and upgrades to major facility equipment and structures to maintain operation for facility production.
- Determine maintenance parts requirements through review of equipment operating manuals.
- Place orders with vendors and control inventory of replacement parts, fluids, supplies, and cleaning agents.
- Perform facility inspections to determine mechanical, structural systems status, and coordinate maintenance and repairs with appropriate managers.
- Primary lead for operational equipment in production areas and first troubleshooting.
- Daily updates to production managers and supervisors on facility work status and activities.
- Rotates to support other key areas as needed by priority for production and other areas as needed to ensure achievement of wholesale objectives, inventory audits and special events.
- Performs small to medium scale refurbishments, construction improvements, and projects to support site wide needs for operational efficiency and BMW standards.
- First line of defense for troubleshooting site wide. Escalates needs to management and informs immediately of any concerns for operations, safety, security.
- Develops and schedules projects, gathers and reviews quotes with VDC Administrator and Financial Analyst then makes recommendations.
- Participates in safety team walks and build safety mindset into site wide inspections, and work processes.
- Keeps detailed documentation on work performed when maintenance activities need to be executed.
- Ensures necessary maintenance checks are scheduled, performed, and achieved to expected quality levels.
- Maintenance work may require weekend or evening work when facility is not running production to avoid downtime
- Communicates effectively and has transparency for proposals, measures and work required to leadership team and associates.
This position requires lifting and carrying up to 50 lb., driving, pulling, kneeling, reaching, standing, twisting, walking, climbing, pushing, squatting, hearing, reading, writing, and exposure to variations in temperature and high noise.

The pay range for this role is: $58,344.00 - $68,640.00.
The selected candidate's education, skills, experience, and location will be used to determine the final salary offer. All pay ranges are based on a full-time work schedule. This statement is in accordance with state and local pay disclosure requirements.
