About the Job
The opportunity:
The Time Entry Specialist is responsible for Time Entry reporting and reconciliation for the Longview mill. This is a fast-paced general office position with occasional bending, lifting, standing and extended periods of focused data and document analysis. Some stress may occur as this job is time sensitive to legal and compliant data entry and protection.
How you will impact WestRock:
* Validate time entry to contract rules, completeness, and accuracy.
* Assist Time Entry with completion and accuracy of timecards and schedules.
* Communicate and assist with employees and supervisors as needed.
* Run reports out of time entry for apprentice hours.
* Work with Training Manager on scheduling training.
* Track time off, training, union business, etc on master spreadsheet for Maintenance department.
* Work with Safety department on scheduling Emergency Response Training.
* Manage weld training schedule, coordinate with vendor on scheduling, supplies, etc.
* Communicate with HR and Time Entry of employee crew changes, progression, job code changes; execute changes in all affected documentation and software.
* Discipline tracking, reporting, and follow up with supervision, management, and HR.
* Lead weekly manpower staffing meeting for supervision.
* Work with supervisors to update crew lists and assignments, remove work hours in JDE CMMS for scheduling.
* Manage and distribute mill salary annual and weekly call schedule.
* Record meeting and training attendance in LMS.
* Updates to Sharepoint file systems as necessary
* Additional tasks as required from Maintenance Director.
What you need to succeed:
* Demonstrated experience utilizing Excel and other MS Office software.
* Attention to detail in composing, typing, and proofing materials, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines.
* Well-developed team skills, unquestioned integrity, and the experience, confidence, and presence to effectively handle interpersonal relationships and sensitive HR issues.
* Knowledge of Kronos, Peoplesoft systems, WorkForce, JDE CMMS, Sharepoint preferred.
Compensation Offered
* Salary range: $50,000 - $75,100 FLSA: Non-Exempt.
