Position Description:
- The Maintenance Project Engineer will support the Business Operations group. They will assist with projects or perform individual tasks related to content contained in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (Maximo) and Document Management System. They will ensure the Maintenance Package Development process is followed for projects they are assigned to.
- Lead and support the Engineering and Maintenance groups in the acquisition, decommission, and relocation of equipment in Manufacturing, Utility or Lab areas. Process all such requests including all associated activities.
- Revise Maintenance related Standard Operating Procedures and forms to support the site's maintenance programs.
- Work in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (Maximo) to create, revise, and ensure approval of job plans to improve site's maintenance programs and to support equipment additions and changes as it may relate to engineering projects, maintenance requests, or continuous improvement.
- Enter new or revise existing spare parts data.
- Work in the Document Management System to create documents related to acquisitions, decommissions, etc for review and approval.
- Provide regular status reports/metrics on status of work. Ensure wok is being completed on a timely manner while escalating any delays.
- Experience in Plant/Facilities or Engineering for the pharmaceutical/biotechnology sector.
- Experience with Maximo
- Self Motivated, self – directed personality with the ability to work both independently and with teams.
- Strong verbal, written, analytical skills and ability to interact effectively.
- Well organized, exhibiting meticulous attention to detail. Ability to multitask and work independently on assignments.
- Strong interpersonal skills, an energetic, proactive, flexible individual with high integrity and ethics in all dealings.
- Skilled with standard office applications including MS Suite of products.
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical or Civil/Structural are preferred)
