About the Job
Objective: The Maintenance Production Manager is a critical role that is responsible for establishing, developing, and maintaining long-term business relationships with customers with a key focus on retention, production, and extra sales. The Production Manager is also responsible for mobilizing landscape maintenance crews, managing budgeted property hours, engaging with property managers (as necessary), scheduling and managing workflow, and management of equipment and fleet.

Responsibilities:
- Utilize strong time management and organizational skills to oversee crews, create schedules, and monitor the quality of work crews are providing customers.
- Management of multiple landscape maintenance crews.
- Assign and schedule tasks and routes for your production team.
- Schedule additional work and address any areas needing attention at client properties.
- Ensure that time-keeping records are submitted accurately and timely.
- Monitor and troubleshoot a variety of landscape maintenance items including pest control, irrigation, and plant material.
- Understand client expectations and communicate those expectations to your crews.
- Maximize retention of current accounts, ensuring customer service expectations and quality are met.
- Create and execute a schedule of consistent communication with customers by visiting sites, sending emails, and communicating by telephone.
- Drive a safety culture across your crews through continuous training and leading by example.
- Ensure work crews have the appropriate equipment and materials to succeed.
- Provide hands-on training for your new and tenured team members to ensure they are set up for success.
- Counsel and develop members within your production team.
- Interview, select, and help onboard new team members and ensure each new team member has a successful onboarding experience.
- Formulate suggestions on how to make optimal use of the resources of the organization and continuously seek operational efficiencies.
- Performing other duties as assigned by the leadership team.
Qualifications & Specific Skills:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the commercial landscaping industry.
- Minimum 2 years of crew management experience.
- Proficient in English and Spanish.
- Competent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Flexibility and willingness to adapt to a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
- A dedication to learning and improving company standards, procedures, and goals.
- Exercises good judgment and is accountable.
- Cost-conscious and effective at cost control.
- Good judgment as related to all job functions; an eye for detail, strong work ethic, punctuality, and ethics.
- Possess pertinent physical requirements commensurate with the job.
- Proficient with the Microsoft Office.
- Valid Florida Driver's License and a safe driving record.
