Maintenance Planner (Muscatine, Iowa)
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The primary responsibilities of this role, Maintenance Planner are:
- Plan Preventative Maintenance's and shutdown orders as necessary;
- Create task lists for repeat jobs to improve planning and work executor efficiency;
- Generate reports of work order/notification backlog as needed;
- Identify current and upcoming Preventative Maintenance’s;
- Creates notifications – identifies work and enter notifications in SAP Generate updates for Technical Objects or Material Masters;
- Works with the Purchasing Department and Central Stores in supporting the delivery of parts, equipment repairs, resources, receiving quotes, etc.;
- Interfaces with Maintenance Advisors, Engineers, Production, Go-To’s and Work Executors on the planning of work;
- Develops task list/job plans (work instructions) for use in planning, estimating, execution, and maintenance plans;
- Ensures PM’s (preventive maintenance) are following Environmental, Safety, and Health regulations by working with each of these organizations;
- Reviews completed orders for cost control and to improve planning efficiencies;
- Builds and maintains integrity/monitor PM/PDM’s for compliance and frequency adjustment;
- Initiates technical object and material master forms for updating the SAP database and creating and/or modifying equipment Bill of Materials (BOM’s);
- Identifies cost improvement opportunities.
Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:
Required Qualifications:
- High Scholl Diploma or GED
Preferred Qualifications:
- Five years production or maintenance manufacturing experience;
- Strong people skills and the ability to manage project timelines Computer Skills (Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, SAP, Excel);
- Strong safety awareness to protect the health, safety, and welfare of our employees, contractors, the community, and the environment. Demonstrated attention to details, organizational skills, initiative, and communication skills while working in a team environment, as well as demonstrating the flexibility and supporting the site during off-hours if needed;
- Ability to listen and interpret customer needs;
- Strong ability to collaborate;
- Ability to work without direct supervision in a diverse team environment.
