We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Planner to join our team at our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for anticipating and addressing maintenance and inventory challenges to reduce equipment downtime. The Maintenance Planner will work closely with production, engineering, and maintenance teams to prioritize work orders, develop preventative maintenance plans, and ensure inventory of tools/parts.

Job Details
Qualifications:
- 2+ years experience in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to read/interpret blueprints and schematics
- Proficiency with mechanical and electrical systems
- Experience working in a union environment, preferred
- CMMS experience
Day-to-day:
- Anticipate and address potential problems to minimize delays in job execution.
- Provide accurate labor and cost estimates for planned maintenance activities.
- Prepare job packs, ensuring all necessary parts and materials are available for crafts.
- Utilize CMMS proficiently to manage work orders and maintenance history.
- Produce and communicate a weekly schedule of planned work based on backlog and production priorities.
- Coordinate with asset owners, supervisors, and engineering to optimize resource allocation and address equipment reliability concerns.
- Interact with maintenance, engineering, and operations teams to discuss planned work.
- Ensure availability of repair parts, tools, and equipment before scheduling maintenance activities.
- Maintain accurate asset history and equipment documentation.
