Maintenance Planner
Effective management of the Maintenance Departments resources to maximize process reliability. Use the work order system to review, sort, plan, schedule, and assign work orders to mechanics to PM, repair or replace equipment. Coordinate activities with Production. Prepare work permits as required. Act as a backup to the Maintenance Manager.
Provide technical support required to maintain, troubleshoot and repair equipment. Establish and maintain PM program in an evergreen mode. Identify chronic problems, determine root cause and implement permanent fix.
Perform administrative duties such as paying invoices, resolving invoice issues, generating requisitions, etc. Order parts as needed. Maintain spare parts for critical equipment. Monitor spare parts usage on work orders by reinforcing mechanics to document it.
Schedule PM work associated with ISO, PSM and EHS equipment. Maintain ISO, PSM and EHS equipment files. Perform ISO duties as assigned. Participate in the quality improvement process
Responsible for Maintenance Budgets.
Qualifications & Skills for Success:
Mechanical background with a minimum of 5 years of actual planning experience
Maintenance planning experience
