Job Summary:
Maintenance Planner supports the activity of the Engineering and Maintenance Team, and provides plans for Preventive, Predictive, and Project/Backlog Maintenance work. Maintenance Planner ensures parts and resources are available and ready; Leads execution of the daily Maintenance plan in conjunction with the daily warehouse schedule. This role provides authoritative guidance and support to Electrical-Mechanical Technicians, Electrical Automation Technicians, and maintenance contractors, acting as a liaison with management if required and communicates planned activities and assignments. Attends daily, weekly, and monthly operation and leadership meetings as requested.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Be the site Subject Matter Expert and overseer of the Computerized Maintenance Management System, AMM
+ Planning Predictive/Preventive Maintenance work activities and associated resources such as labor, parts, equipment, and tools, to coincide with daily, weekly, monthly Distribution Center Operations plans.
+ Entering modifications, improvements or additions made to manufacturing, utilities, and/or other support area equipment into AMM
+ Providing SAP data integrity guidance for team members. Provide support and training to ensure meaningful and comprehensive information is available.
+ Evaluate Work Requests to convert to Work Orders or give feedback as needed
+ Verifying that PM, CBM, and PDM planned and unplanned work is complete, logged, and collected for future evaluation.
+ Analyze data, generating and distributing critical metrics and trend analysis reports, providing feedback to Engineering on potential issues and improvement opportunities.
+ Oversee storeroom and manage parts inventory
+ Oversee site assets and equipment classification assignments
+ Assist Site Engineer by coordinating projects as needed (contract execution, contractor coordination, order materials, billing etc.)
+ Follow Nestlé Maintenance Strategy using Consequence Driven Maintenance (CDM) as the multi-disciplined approach to proactively maintain/improve the fixed assets and Asset and Maintenance Management (AMM) as the process to manage the asset lifecycle.
+ Execute plans to insure asset reliability and overall site performance.
+ Coordinate activities related to routine building maintenance and utilities
+ Coordinate with/schedule outside contractors relating to engineering related activities.
REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM EDUCATION LEVEL:
+ B.S. degree in Engineering preferred, will consider other fields of study and/or combination of education and experience.
+ 3 years of experience in a Manufacturing or Automated Distribution Center environment supporting Maintenance, & Engineering function required.
+ Maintenance Planner experience preferred, including planning and coordination of maintenance activities, taking into account production schedule and other standard activities related to maintenance planning (budget, safety permits, coordination with other operational areas, tracking of maintenance KPI's, etc.).
+ Preferably exposure to TPM, PM Pillar, maintenance planning techniques and maintenance execution.
+ Participation in the coordination and planning of maintenance activities, taken into account SHE, food safety.
+ Food Industry experience preferred.
+ Experience with CMMS system (SAP, Maximo, MP2, MLS, etc.) is highly recommended.
+ Prior storeroom or parts crib experience or prior hands-on skilled trade experience a plus.
SKILLS:
+ Able to work in a team environment where honest communication, a positive attitude, engagement, and personal accountability is expected.
+ High level of computer expertise and competence with strong analytical skills
+ Ability to manage parts inventory for priority equipment, manage ordering and re-ordering
+ Ability to assemble job parts kits for planned maintenance activities
+ Excellent communication and organizational skills.
+ Detail oriented individual who accurately records information
+ Strong understanding of mechanical processes, equipment and electrical systems.
+ Must have continuous improvement mindset and familiarity with improvement methodologies
+ Proactively make maintenance and repair decisions to keep the business functioning at a high level.
+ Ability and willingness to promote and support a positive culture and follow Nestlé values.
+ Ability to collaborate with all parts of the operation to achieve goals and objectives.
+ Has positive conflict management skills.
+ Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
+ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
The approximate pay range for this position is $64,000 to $102,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
