What You'll Do: The Maintenance Painter is responsible for maintaining the aesthetic appearance of the senior living facility through painting and surface finishing tasks. This role involves assessing surfaces, preparing them for painting, selecting appropriate paints and finishes, and applying them in a timely and efficient manner. The Maintenance Painter works closely with the maintenance team to ensure all painting projects are completed to high standards, contributing to a safe, comfortable, and visually appealing environment for residents and staff.
Hours: 8:00am - 4:30pm, Monday - Friday
Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality painting services for residents and common areas.
- Manage painting supplies and maintain accurate records of paint colors.
- Advise supervisor on repairs, budget, and campus needs.
- Participate in meetings and support department initiatives.
Competencies:
- Resident-focused with ethical conduct and flexibility.
- Ability to work independently with diverse residents and personnel.
- Strong communication skills and adaptability in a 24/7 operation.
- Basic physical demands with the ability to move, lift, and adapt to workload changes.
Work Environment:
- Exposure to various resident conditions, noise, and cleaning chemicals.
- Must handle interruptions and work flexible hours as required.
Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED preferred.
- Experience in maintenance painting or related capacity preferred.
Compensation: $17.50 - $18.50, plus our benefits package!
