I. Job Summary Utilize standard maintenance practices to diagnose and repair or replace electrical instrumentation systems. Must possess sufficient computer skills to maintain maintenance records and prepare maintenance-training materials.
II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other minor duties may be assigned.
Maintain pumps, gas and liquid flow meters, thermal couples and pressure transmitters
Troubleshoot air and electrically actuated valves and temperature/pressure transmitters
Tune control valve responses for a Honeywell HC 900 process control system
Ensure accurate record-keeping of maintenance logs, adequate parts inventory and file equipment documentation
III. Supervisory Responsibilities Not normally required to supervise others
IV. Qualifications The requirements listed below are representative of the qualifications necessary to perform the job.
A. Education and Experience
Education: Not required.
Experience: One year of prior work experience with electronic equipment troubleshooting and equipment repair.
B. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Other Requirements
None required.
C. Other Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required
Strong mechanical aptitude
Effective and concise communication
Self-motivated and directed with a keen sense of urgency to deliver results
Strategic thinking
