The Fountain Group is currently seeking a Maintenance Mechanic for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in West Hazleton, PA. Details for the position are as follows:
Direct Hire Full Time job.
Payrate: $35.42/hr W2 with benefits.
Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic
Location: West Hazleton, PA
Duration: Direct Hire Full Time
Shift hours: 2:30pm – 10:30pm M-F.
Required:
- Minimum 3 years of current or recent Industrial Maintenance experience
- MUST HAVE – Experience maintaining, repairing and installing packaging machinery and equipment.
- MUST HAVE – Experience troubleshooting and repairing 480-volt 3 phase equipment.
- Intermediate to advanced skills in mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems and experience with machine shop equipment
- Basic welding and electrical skills
- Experience in an ISO and/ or GMP regulated environment.
- High school diploma or GED required (vocational/technical coursework preferred)
Job Description:
Responsibilities:
Industrial Maintenance Mechanics are responsible for maintaining, repairing and installing packaging machinery and equipment in a safe and efficient manner within budgetary constraints.
Ensure operation of mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance and aid in troubleshooting technical issues; demonstrated ability to identify issues, conduct root cause analysis and take action to fix issues
- Fabricate repair parts by using machine shop equipment, troubleshoot and repair 480 volt 3 phase equipment
- Manage self-directed projects from inception to completion; able to work in a team-based environment but can complete tasks on their own
- Willing to work extended shift hours and weekend overtime as necessary
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of current or recent Industrial Maintenance experience; high school diploma or GED required (vocational/technical coursework preferred)
- Intermediate to advanced skills in mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems and experience with machine shop equipment
- Basic welding and electrical skills
- Intermediate level computer skills (Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, e-mail).
