Maintenance Mechanic - Expert Staffing

We are looking for a reliable, hands-on, and safety-conscious Maintenance Mechanic to join our clients’ growing manufacturing team in Webster, MA. If you’re passionate about keeping operations running smoothly and ensuring a safe work environment, we’d love to meet you!

Starting Rate: $26.00-$31.00/Hr.

Maintenance Mechanic Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine preventative maintenance and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues on production equipment and plant facilities.
• Maintain an accurate inventory of equipment and repair parts to ensure we’re always prepared.
• Inspect building and mechanical equipment regularly to identify needed repairs and ensure efficient, safe operations that meet all regulatory standards.
• Determine and arrange work priorities to ensure critical tasks are addressed in a timely manner.
• Perform routine safety checks to maintain a safe work environment and ensure compliance with all safety and operational standards.
• Be available for on-call rotations to handle off-shift issues, as well as emergencies, ensuring minimal downtime and quick recovery.
• Use diagnostic tools like multimeters to identify, assess, and solve mechanical and electrical problems. Keep detailed records of all maintenance activities and service calls.

Maintenance Technician Skills & Requirements:

• Proven experience with equipment maintenance, including troubleshooting and repair of both mechanical and electrical systems.
• Ability to use a multimeter and familiarity with Computer Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
• Experience with industrial sewing equipment is a plus.
• Strong ability to communicate effectively in English and follow verbal instructions.
• Ability to stand/walk for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work at heights up to 40 feet.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to address mechanical and electrical challenges.
• Knowledge of and adherence to safety procedures to ensure a secure environment for all employees.
• Ability to travel to locations in Woodstock, CT as needed
