Job Details

Responsibilities:

Ensure that all scheduled inspections and repairs are completed correctly, effectively and completed in a timely manner.
Perform oil and coolant changes on production equipment.
Diagnose and repair bearings, ball screws and servo motors.
Ensure scheduled preventative maintenance activities are being performed and documented per schedule.
Install and relocate equipment as needed throughout the workshop.
Work with equipment manufactures to troubleshoot and resolve equipment problems.
Effectively document the work performed to maintain accurate work history and troubleshooting notes.
Responsible for changing out air conditioning filters, light fixtures and switches, etc.
Responsible for maintaining outside sprinkler systems and outside lighting.
Be accountable for working safely by following all safety rules and safe work practices.
Coordinate and support with the Facilities Supervisor to resolve equipment problems and scheduled maintenance activities.
Ensure 6s is maintained in the assigned work areas.
Perform other related duties as required.

Qualifications:

5+ years equipment troubleshooting and repair experience required.
Must be able to read machine prints and determine which items are needed to complete any repairs.
Must be able to read and understand electrical schematics.
Must have knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
Ability to replace electronic components.
Must be able to work independently at a fast pace, follow directions and make decisions.
Ability to do general facilities repairs to include lighting repair and maintenance.
Must be able to operate a forklift.
Ability to maintain machine coolant at proper concentrations.
Ability to do drywall repairs and painting.
Must be able to communicate and read English proficiently.
