Role
As a Maintenance Mechanic (also known as Equipment Maintenance Technician, Industrial Maintenance Mechanic), you'll be responsible for general facility and equipment maintenance in a highly-automated food manufacturing environment. Your primary duties will include troubleshooting/resolving immediate issues, ensuring line/factory continuous operations, removal and installation of various mechanical and electrical equipment/components, as well as, performing preventive and repair maintenance to meet operational requirements.
Benefits- Starting rate of $29.95 to as much as $37+ based on skills.
- Hiring bonus of $3,000.
- Relocation allowance of $3,500, which includes airfare, 1-week hotel stay, and 30-day rental car.
- High school diploma or GED (courses in math, mechanical drawing and/or shop preferred).
- 2+ years of work experience in an automated industrial manufacturing facility, ideally doing maintenance related work with packaging and/or processing equipment.
- 2 years of technical or vocational training preferred.
