The Opportunity
The purpose of a Maintenance Technician II position is to perform basic tasks and repairs within the fulfillment center including work on conveyors, PIT equipment, and general building maintenance. This requires a basic understanding of hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems. Also, we ask that you have familiarity with AC/DC systems and the ability to use a voltmeter.
You will report to the Facilities Area Manager and work onsite in our Ontario, California fulfillment center. The hours will be Sun-Thurs 5am-1:30pm.

The maintenance team is responsible for a variety of work streams and projects that allow our campuses to have a comfortable and safe workplace. The services the department provides range from building maintenance, AV Setup/Installation, guest registration, badges/parking permits, space planning/moves, drawing requests and design, large-scale projects, and caf/catering services.
Your Impact
- Building Maintenance - Perform and facilitate general facility repairs such as electrical, lighting, HVAC, & conveyor systems.
- Equipment Maintenance - Perform planned and unplanned repairs, and preventative maintenance to production-related equipment, Powered Industrial Trucks, and building equipment. Identify and correct safety hazards and potential maintenance issues before they become critical.
- Conveyor, Automation, and Sorter Systems - Support and perform planned and unplanned repairs and preventative maintenance to maintain operation of conveyors and sorter equipment. Help with conveyor, automation and sortation system repairs.
- Electrical - Have a fundamental understanding of AC and DC systems and how to use a voltage meter. Follow lock out/tag out policy.
- System Installation, Design, Construction and Repair - Assist team leaders and contractors to perform installations of new or replacement equipment.
- Record Keeping - Input and maintain records using CMMS systems to ensure accuracy of time, parts, and repair data. Read technical manuals and document changes.
What You Bring
- Read and comprehend technical manuals. Familiarity with blueprints, and engineering specifications
- High School graduate or equivalent; Industrial mechanic trade school courses or certification (i.e., electrical, controls, plumbing, welding) or equivalent military technical training.
- 1 year or more experience with mechanical and electrical systems.
- 1year or more experience with conveyor, automation and sortation system repair
- Occasionally be on call or work overtime.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Prefer working knowledge of voltage meter and AC/DC
- Ability to lift and carry materials, tools, and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds; occasionally up to 75 pounds.
- Can perform overhead lifting and maneuvering heavy objects.
- Prolonged periods of standing and walking on different surfaces, including concrete, metal, and uneven terrain.
- Frequent bending, stooping, and kneeling to access equipment and perform repairs.
- Work in crouched or squatting positions for extended periods.
