Maintenance Mechanic - ISC MANUFACTURING

ISC is a local manufacturing company that designs and fabricates complex systems and parts for

Agriculture, Mining, Aggregates, Construction, Waste Processing, and Conveying industries. We are looking for a skilled maintenance mechanic to keep our production equipment fleet running smoothly.

 What You’ll Do:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment, including but not limited to motors, pumps, CNC equipment (lathes, mills, plasma), manual equipment (drill presses, press brakes, slip rolls, welding machines.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical equipment.
• Conduct preventive maintenance inspections and ensure timely repairs to prevent equipment downtime.
• Collaborate with the maintenance lead, production manager, and engineering teams to improve equipment reliability and performance.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs and records of all tasks performed.
• Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
• Follow all safety protocols and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and suggest process improvements.

What you Need:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certifications are a plus but not required
• Valid Driver's license required.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial maintenance or a mechanical experience field.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic systems, and electrical.
• Knowledge of overhead electric hoist systems
• Ability to operate or learn to operate Forklifts, boom lifts and other heavy equipment.
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Must be able to work on multiple projects at once.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and with a team and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Must Provide own tools.
• Must be able to work Monday-Friday 8-12hrs. Sometimes weekends as needed. 
• Must have a good work ethic, be a role model for others, and lead by example.
• Must be a team player, take ownership, be honest, act with integrity, and be willing to contribute to the success of the company.
• Safety must be embraced as a core value by following all company policies and procedures. 

• This position requires squatting/kneeling, bending/stooping, crawling, twisting/turning, reaching overhead and outward frequently. It also requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly and stand or walk up to 12 hours per day.
• Able to read, write, and speak English effectively along with basic mathematical Skills required.

The Work environment is not climate-controlled, 200,000 Sq ft facility.
