Maintenance Mechanic / Apprentice - American Kitchen Delights

Our frozen food manufacturing company is searching for a Maintenance Mechanic to help maintain our equipment, machinery, and facilities. The individual will assist in continuously improving and maintaining the equipment and the manufacturing process. General Info:

Responsibilities:

-Fixing machines/equipment due to breakdowns or stalls.

-Maintaining and improving machinery/equipment through preventive maintenance and remodeling.

-Work with the Manager to train employees to operate the machines properly when needed.

-Ensure efficient repair schedules and understand the concept of repair cost estimates

-Work with the Manager to complete maintenance and repairs of company equipment and parts

-Control downtime by informing production workers of maintenance tasks and projects

-Use the machine shop instrumentation and equipment.

-Locate causes/sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation, listening for problems, and using testing instruments.

-Communicating effectively, having respect for fellow employees

-Building and equipment maintenance

-Using Electrical and Tools

-Troubleshooting issues

-Understanding manuals

-Being adaptable and self-driven

Skills:

-Knowledge of welding, milling, electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems preferred

-Able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Hours: Day Shift / Flexible

Pay: Approximately $33,000 - $63,000 per year, depending on experience level.
