Are you a seasoned Maintenance Mechanic with a knack for problem-solving and a passion for machinery? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! We are a leading manufacturing company seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. This is a permanent role with 2nd or 3rd shift available. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the efficiency and longevity of our manufacturing equipment and systems. Responsibilities:
As a Maintenance Mechanic, your duties will encompass a broad range of tasks including but not limited to:
1. Performing routine and preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment and systems to ensure optimal performance.
2. Diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues swiftly and accurately, minimizing downtime and disruption to production.
3. Utilizing a variety of power tools to perform repairs and maintenance tasks.
4. Adhering to all safety policies and procedures, promoting a culture of safety within the team.
5. Troubleshooting complex machinery issues using logical problem-solving skills.
6. Collaborating with other team members to identify and address potential maintenance issues.
7. Participating in ongoing training and development opportunities to stay current with industry trends and advancements.
8. Documenting all maintenance and repair work for record-keeping and future reference.
Qualifications:
To qualify for this role, you should possess the following:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Maintenance Mechanic in a manufacturing environment.
2. Proficiency in the use of power tools and other maintenance equipment.
3. Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and repair a wide range of mechanical issues.
4. A solid understanding of basic safety protocols in a manufacturing setting.
5. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate with team members at all levels.
6. A proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to anticipate potential issues and address them before they escalate.
7. The ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating reliability and commitment to the team’s success.
8. A high school diploma or equivalent is required. A relevant trade certification or associate degree is preferred.
