Summary
Under the direction of the Manager, performs general building maintenance in the hospital and/or off-site locations. Repairs and maintains mechanical equipment.
Education
High School Diploma or GED required.
Certification, Registration & Licensure
Licensure required: Valid New Hampshire Driver's License required for day shift positions, preferred for evening and night positions.
Experience
One year minimum related maintenance experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience (general mechanical skills, carpentry capability, basic plumbing and electrical knowledge).
Responsibilities
Completes work orders pertaining to Life Safety, Environment of Care, Safety and Patient Related.
Completes Preventative Maintenance Work Orders.
Creates and maintains proper documentation.
Evaluate and Interprets data to perform preventive maintenance, trouble shoot malfunctions or perform
repairs.
Observes mechanical devices in operation and listens to their sounds to locate causes of trouble.
Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments.
