Compensation: $140,000 - $155,000 per year

Position Overview

A power plant in Tiverton, RI, is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee maintenance operations and manage plant machinery, equipment, and inventory. The ideal candidate will have a background in gas turbines, power plant maintenance, and supervisory experience.

Major Duties & Responsibilities

• Supervise maintenance personnel and manage plant equipment maintenance and repairs.
• Oversee contractors, develop RFPs, negotiate terms, and coordinate contractor work.
• Manage OEM bulletins, technical information, and plant inventory, ensuring capital spare parts are available and tracked.
• Coordinate with Operations to plan and execute maintenance activities.
• Conduct and document preventive maintenance, adhering to local and federal regulations.
• Facilitate root-cause analyses, implement corrective actions, and adhere to the Management of Change (MOC) program.
• Promote a safe working environment, enforce safety policies, and participate in plant safety programs.
• Lead the planning and execution of plant outages and capital improvement projects.
• Participate in Process Safety Management and Asset Management programs.
• Utilize CMMS for work scheduling, inventory management, and procurement of parts.
• Coach and develop maintenance team members to ensure required skill sets.
• Report abnormal conditions to Plant and Operations Managers and manage overtime hours.

Required Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or relevant field.
• Minimum of 10 years of industrial maintenance experience, including management or supervisory roles.
• At least 2 years of CMMS responsibility and supervisory experience.
• Strong electrical and mechanical background.
• Proficient in environmental and safety regulations.
• Demonstrated leadership, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Familiar with computer hardware and software for internal and external communication.
