About the Job
This is a Unit-level supervisory position and key technical resource foroverseeing mechanical, electrical, heating, ventilation and air conditioning maintenance activities. Also oversees and participates in all work activities, performing a variety of technical tasks relative to assigned area of responsibility. This person will have supervisory responsibilities for15part-timeworkers.This individualcoordinatestheworkof outsidecontractorsand assuresthattheir work is performed athigh levels andwithin tight time constraints.This person coordinateswith Fire and Safety with building reviews and developingregulationsof venue -fire sprinkler certification required.Multiple trades required-Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, General Maintenance areimportant aspects for a full working knowledge ofthevenue.Assistance with reviews for ADA buildingregulationsthat have tobe incompliancewith law.Works with third party vendors regardingtheir preparationsfor shows,mechanicaland HVAC set-upsand generalelectricalsetupsfor shows.Ifproductionsupervisoris out, this personsupervisesproduction staff, which would include phone system, wifi etc., maintenancefor concessions and kitchen and otherspaces onthe PACsite.Thisperson oversees the responsibility of roofing repairs.
This role will pay a salary range of $75,000 - $85,000

- Serves as a key technical resource to diagnose facility systems issues mechanical, electrical, plumbing,roofingandotherrequirementstomaintainthenewvenue.
- Supervisesandjoinsstaffto install, replaceor repair damaged equipment;calibrate thermostatic controls, electrical conduit, wiring, motor starters,conductors, lighting, cables, electrical panels and related equipmentto ensure the facilityisoperablefor hostingevents.
- Inspectbuildingand equipment to identify mechanical maintenance needs. Estimate time, materials and equipment required for jobs assigned, requisition materials as required.
- Oversee contractors and manage all aspects of repairs performed by 3rd parties.
- Operate, maintain andrepair a variety of mechanical tools and equipment.
- Read and interpret sketches, diagramsand blueprints and perform other duties as assigned forthe facility to operate efficiently for users patrons and guests.
- Establish schedules andmethods for providing mechanical andelectrical maintenance services.
- Identify resource needs, review with appropriate managementstaff and allocate resources accordingly.
- Provide or coordinate staff training, work with employees to correct deficiencies and implement discipline procedures.
- Evaluate employee performance.
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Assoiates in Mechanics ot Trade Certificatin preferred
- Minimum 5 years supervisory and mechanical repair experience
Knowledge of supervision, training
