Maintenance Manager - Gpac

One of our clients in manufacturing is confidentially seeking a Maintenance Manager for their bottling facility! Located in the Hudson River Valley area in beautiful NY! They are committed to providing the highest quality products and safe and supportive working environments!

The ideal candidate would have experience with high-speed bottling equipment (they use Allen Bradley's, SMI case packers and fillers) and be a fluent Spanish speaker.

Responsibilities:

• Lead, coordinate, and oversee routine and non-routine maintenance and repairs of manufacturing equipment. (The main machines they use are Alan Bradley's , SMI case packers , and fillers.)
• Identify and assess equipment problems, determine root causes, execute necessary repairs, and complete associated documentation.
• Supervise maintenance personnel and coordinate their activities.
• Establish and maintain procedures for routine preventive maintenance.
• Identify critical spare parts required and manage inventories to minimize equipment downtime and enhance production efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with company GMP and safety policies, procedures, and practices.
• Adhere to applicable building, county, and safety codes and standards to maintain an accident-free operation.
• Maintain peak efficiency levels for all property components.
• Communicate effectively with Directors, Managers, Supervisors, peers, and subordinates, escalating any issues regarding specifications, quality, or safety.
• Review and document completed work by employees.
• Apply knowledge of OSHA principles for safety in a manufacturing environment.
• Ensure functionality of all safety equipment and promote proper safety practices among employees.

Requirements:

• Experience in aseptic manufacturing and or high speed bottling.
• Associates degree in related field or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 8 years direct experience as Maintenance Supervisor.
• Spanish speaking is a plus.

Comp: 150-175K & full benefits, plus 10/15K relocation assistance if needed
