Join the dynamic team at Pace Industries, as the Maintenance Manager. We are seeking an innovative and collaborative leader. This role is responsible for establishing, analyzing and optimizing business processes and systems. Under the direction of the Plant Manager, the Maintenance Manager will ensure adherence to established business processes while striving to achieve Business Excellence.
This is a hands-on job and cannot be done from a desk. The Maintenance Manager is also chief maintenance technician. The work environment is mentally and physically demanding, but even more rewarding for the right person. The drive for personal excellence and the ability to drive others toward excellence is as important as any technical requirements.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Scheduling/assigning activities based on production needs, equipment availability, and available personnel
- Performing troubleshooting and repairs
- Establishing and executing individual development plans for maintenance technicians
- Monitoring individual and overall department performance
- Conducting regular technical and safety training
- Communicating machine/project statuses with other managers and production control.

Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 + years of industrial maintenance experience
- Extensive knowledge of complex hydraulic systems
- Familiarity with industrial electrical systems (12 VDC to 600 VAC)
- Experience troubleshooting and programming PLCs
- Management and supervisory experience – specifically team building, performance reviews, and individual development.

- Ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
- Ability to function as a team player.
- Ability to build credibility and trust.
- Must be proficient with the use of Microsoft Office Suite.
