Maintenance Manager - DSJ Global

DSJ Global is looking for a Maintenance Manager to join a growing plastics manufacturing company in the Seattle, Washington area. This position will direct and coordinate the Maintenance team to optimize plant performance to support production goals. Our client is looking for a hands on manager with strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills.

Maintenance Manager Responsibilities:

• Schedule repair, maintenance, and installation of machines, tools and equipment to ensure continuous production operations.
• Coordinate activities of workers fabrication or modifying machines, tools or equipment to manufacture new products or improve existing products.
• Direct maintenance activities on utility systems to provide a continuous supply of heat, steam, electric power, gas, or air required for operations.
• Develop a preventative maintenance program in conjunction with engineering and maintenance staff.
• Review production, quality control, and maintenance reports and statistics to plan and modify maintenance activities.
• Plans, develops, and implements new methods and procedures designed to improve operations, minimize operation costs, and affect greater utilization of labor and materials.
• Review new product plans and discuss equipment needs and modifications with design engineers.

Maintenance Manager Qualifications:

• Experience in the plastics industry
• Experience managing a maintenance team
