Maintenance Manager - Jimmy's Gourmet Bakery

Our Maintenance Manager ensures all plant equipment runs smoothly, supporting our mission to produce safe, high-quality products. You’ll lead maintenance strategies, ensure a safe work environment, and oversee an effective, skilled maintenance team.

Key Responsibilities:

· Oversee the day-to-day maintenance of all production equipment, ensuring everything from ovens to conveyors is in top working condition.

· Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.

· Lead, train, and mentor the maintenance team, ensuring safety procedures are followed and equipment is maintained to the highest standards.

· Troubleshoot equipment issues quickly and effectively, minimizing production delays.

· Collaborate with production and engineering teams to recommend and implement improvements that optimize equipment performance and energy efficiency.

· Manage the maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions while maintaining high-quality standards.

· Coordinate with external vendors for specialized repairs or equipment upgrades when needed.

Qualifications:

· 7 to 10 years of experience in a maintenance management role, preferably in a manufacturing or food production environment.

· Strong knowledge of industrial equipment, including mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.

· Excellent leadership skills—you can effectively manage, motivate, and develop a team of technicians.

· A proactive, problem-solving mindset that can troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues quickly.

· Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs and the ability to implement best practices.

· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, ensuring all maintenance tasks are prioritized and completed on time.

· A commitment to safety and quality—keeping both our team and products safe is your top priority.

Work Environment:

· Products manufactured in this facility may contain peanuts and tree nuts.

· Ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting to 75 lbs, operating machinery, and performing tasks requiring fine motor skills.
