Maintenance Manager Job Summary:
The Maintenance Manager will oversee the maintenance and repair of all facility equipment and systems. This role is crucial in ensuring that all mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems operate efficiently and effectively. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a background in facility management, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive maintenance program to ensure optimal functionality of all equipment and systems.
- Manage and supervise a team of maintenance technicians, providing training, support, and performance evaluations.
- Plan and oversee preventive maintenance and repair activities to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs, ensuring quality and compliance with safety standards.
- Monitor and manage maintenance budgets, including tracking expenses and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inventory, and equipment logs.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment and facility issues promptly to minimize operational disruptions.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance maintenance processes and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Manager or similar role in a [relevant industry].
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
