We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Maintenance Manager for our Cement division. This role is critical to our operations and requires a unique blend of leadership, technical expertise, and strategic thinking. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of maintenance within our cement production facility, ensuring optimal plant availability, efficiency, and safety. If you are a proactive individual with a strong understanding of cement production processes, mechanical systems, and construction principles, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee the maintenance of all production and processing equipment, ensuring optimal functionality and efficiency.
2. Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules and procedures to minimize downtime and production disruptions.
3. Coordinate with production management to prioritize maintenance activities in line with production schedules.
4. Lead, manage, and develop a team of maintenance technicians, promoting a culture of safety, continuous improvement, and high performance.
5. Manage the maintenance budget, ensuring effective use of resources and cost control.
6. Liaise with external contractors and suppliers, ensuring high-quality service delivery and compliance with company standards.
7. Implement and maintain a computerized maintenance management system (SAP) to track work orders, spare parts, and maintenance history.
8. Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
9. Participate in strategic planning and projects to improve plant efficiency and productivity.
10. Provide technical expertise and support to resolve complex maintenance issues.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a maintenance management role within the cement industry.
3. Strong technical knowledge of cement production processes and equipment.
4. Proficiency in SAP or similar computerized maintenance management system.
5. Proven experience in managing and leading a team of maintenance technicians.
6. Excellent understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations within the cement industry.
7. Strong project management skills, with experience in planning and executing maintenance projects.
8. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues.
9. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with all levels of the organization.
10. Proven track record in performance management and continuous improvement.
