We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Maintenance Manager to join our thriving manufacturing team. This position is an opportunity to play a vital role in our organization, ensuring that all machinery and equipment are in optimal condition to support our production process. The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for overseeing all maintenance activities, including preventive maintenance, equipment maintenance, and the management of hydraulic, mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
Responsibilities:
As our Maintenance Manager, your primary responsibilities will include:
1. Developing and implementing preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and increase operational efficiency.
2. Overseeing the maintenance and repair of all production machinery and equipment, including hydraulic, mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
3. Coordinating with the production team to schedule maintenance activities in a way that minimizes disruption to the production process.
4. Ensuring compliance with all safety and environmental regulations.
5. Managing the maintenance budget, including procurement of spare parts and equipment.
6. Supervising, training, and mentoring maintenance staff to ensure a high level of competency and efficiency.
7. Troubleshooting and resolving complex maintenance issues promptly and effectively.
8. Continually evaluating and improving maintenance processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and productivity.
9. Coordinating with vendors and contractors as needed for maintenance and repair projects.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for our Maintenance Manager position will have the following qualifications:
1. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a maintenance management role within the manufacturing industry.
2. Proven expertise in preventive maintenance, equipment maintenance, and the management of hydraulic, mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
3. Strong leadership and team management skills, with a proven ability to train and mentor staff.
4. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex maintenance issues.
5. Strong knowledge of safety and environmental regulations in the manufacturing industry.
6. Excellent budget management skills, with the ability to effectively manage the maintenance budget.
7. Strong communication and coordination skills, with the ability to effectively coordinate with production staff, vendors, and contractors.
8. A degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related field is preferred.
