Maintenance Machinist - Parallel Employment

Parallel Employment is currently seeking a skilled Maintenance Machinist to support our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong solid background in CNC machine maintenance, with a particular focus on shapers, lathes, hoist, hobs, grinders, and machine centers. Experience and knowledge of a journeyman's certification and/or education.

1st shift: 7:00 AM -3:00 PM, M-F

Job Type: Direct Hire

Job Location: Racine, WI

Pay: $24.98/ hr

Requirements

• Knowledge and experience journeyman, journeyman card, certification, or education.
• 3-5 solid years of experience with preventative maintenance and repair of NC/CNC machines to include shapers, lathes, hoist, hobs, grinders, and machine centers.
• Proficient NC/CNC controls.
• Strong knowledge in hydraulics, electrical systems, and pneumatics
• Rigging experience.
• Able to troubleshoot, fabricate, weld and repair various machinery parts.
• Basic knowledge of scraping and alignment to manufacturing specifications.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods
• Willingness to wear required safety equipment and adhere to safety standards
• Dependable transportation is a must
• Ability to work overtime as needed
• Excellent communication skills and ability to follow instructions
