The Maintenance Lead-Supervisor will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a variety of industrial machinery including plasmas, Haas CNC lathes and mills, large saws, welding machines, blast booths, air compressors, cubing machines, and more.
Responsibilities:
1. Overseeing the maintenance and repair of a wide array of industrial machinery, ensuring they are operating at optimal efficiency.
2. Developing and implementing preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
3. Supervising and coordinating the activities of the maintenance team, while fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
4. Troubleshooting and diagnosing complex machinery issues, determining the most effective solutions.
5. Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and maintaining a safe, clean work environment.
6. Coordinating with other departments to schedule maintenance and repairs to minimize disruption to production.
7. Training team members on proper operation and maintenance procedures for all machinery.
8. Managing maintenance resources and budgets effectively.
9. Continuously evaluating machinery performance and recommending improvements or upgrades when necessary.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a maintenance supervisory role in the manufacturing industry.
2. Proven experience with a variety of industrial machinery, including plasmas, Haas equipment, CNC lathes, CNC mills, large saws, welding machines, blast booths, air compressors, and cubing machines.
3. Strong technical understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair complex machinery.
4. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a proven ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
5. Proficiency in developing and implementing preventive maintenance programs.
6. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to make effective decisions under pressure.
7. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to coordinate with various departments effectively.
8. Strong commitment to safety, with knowledge of relevant safety regulations and procedures.
9. Ability to manage resources and budgets effectively.
10. Relevant certifications or qualifications would be an added advantage.
