Maintenance Inventory Specialist/ Planner/ Buyer (Bloomington, MN) - Hitchcock Industries, Inc. DBA CPP-Minneapolis

CPP- Bloomington, MN is currently hiring for a 1st shift Maintenance Inventory Specialist/ Planner/ Buyer for our team working onsite at our location in Bloomington, MN starting immediately. This position will perform purchasing functions for stock, consumable and specialized parts for our maintenance team and other areas of our business. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining the maintenance spare parts catalog along with the BOM development. If you have experience maintaining stock levels, inventory for the storeroom and managing new and existing vendor relationships, this is for you!

What will you do?

• Writing and placing maintenance related purchase orders with the suppliers
• Entering inventory counts and supply orders into CMMS system
• Monitor designated inventory supply levels and order restock as needed
• Maintain bill of materials (BOM) information for every asset within area of responsibility
• Scope repair work and record decisions on Work Planning Checklist
• Requisition of materials for planned work
• Develop planned work for the Weekly Work Schedule and PM optimization
• Estimate costs, including labor, materials, and contract services, for work performed
• Manage tool crib activity, inventory, and ordering
• Qualified to operate forklift and power pallet jack
• Comply with all safety, DOT, HAZMAT and environmental policies and procedures

What will you need to be successful?

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum of (5) years of industrial maintenance and repair experience
• (2) years of prior experience planning and scheduling maintenance and repair work.
• Working knowledge of pumps, motors, general and specialized parts, electrical, welding and mechanical equipment typically used in manufacturing or comparable facilities is required
• QAD, Excel, MS office Suites, Megamation
