Food Safety Role & Responsibility: |
As an individual, the incumbent must understand the Food Safety Statement, complete the required training, perform work assignments in accordance with training and display an acceptable level of competency with all Quality Assurance/Safety/Security policies and training requirements. Areas of food safety training will include, but are not limited to, GMP, HACCP, Listeria, Food Safety and Quality Statement, FSSC 22000/Global Food Safety Policy/Food Safety Goals, Visitor/Food/Site Security, Emergency Preparedness, and Bloodborne Pathogens. Some additional items will include: Release of Maintained Food Contact Equipment, Tagging Equipment for Decontamination, Lubricants and Equipment Oil Procedure, Preventive Maintenance and Work Order Procedure, and Maintenance Reactive Repairs. The individual must also request additional and/or refresher training if he or she feels that it is needed to effectively perform requirements in specific areas of responsibility. |

The incumbent will maintain and control incoming parts and repairs in day-to-day operation, ensure proper inventory, and continue to improve the quality of services and deliveries provided by suppliers and OEM. |
Job Function Statements Essential Functions: |
-Maintain Maintenance Inventory Stock room - ensure proper inventory. -Manage EAM D7i system counts and rotation of the stock items. -Organize stock room and utilize proper square footage. -Prepare parts for projects and PM's. -Continually evaluate and improve stock availability. -Maintain proper level of the spare stock parts and supplies. -Provide supervisor with cost reductions on a weekly basis. -Generate monthly inventory report and other activities reports in stock room. -Must ensure compliance with all Fresh Express policies and procedures (Personal Safety, SOX, etc.) as required. -SARBANES-OXLEY RELATED CONTROLS: Indicate any specific responsibilities (financial, process, etc.). If you're uncertain what to list please contact your supervisor. Provide auditors with proper documentation. Control all incoming and outgoing items and packages. - Perform other duties as assigned. - Perform parts sourcing and walk-down activities. - Perform receiving activities (opening boxes, checking packing slips, and noting discrepancies). - Labeling inventories and storage locations. - Perform parts picking, kitting, and staging activities. |
Required Qualifications/Skills: |
Physical Requirements: the employee is required to stand for extended periods of time (duration of the shift, 8 hours or more); walk; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop; kneel; crouch; bend continuously; or crawl. The incumbent must be able to climb stairs and ladders or step up onto a platform several times throughout the shift; and is occasionally required to sit. The employee must be able to push/pull/lift and/or move 50 pounds. Work Environment: the employee is occasionally exposed to wet/cold conditions of 34 36 degrees and also at times hot conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to occasionally loud, which may require hearing protection. -Computer skills MS Office (Excel and Access) -Negotiation skills -Basic business requirements such as attendance, punctuality, and good work ethics -Mechanical knowledge and basic math skills required -Must be fluent in English: oral and written -Must be able to occasionally work in a cold/wet environment of approximately 34 degrees Fahrenheit |
