About the Job
The Children's Home of Reading Youth & Family Services is a seeking a Part-Time 1st Shift Maintenance & Housekeeper Worker with the flexibility to perform combined assignments.
Position Summary: The Maintenance and Housekeeper will perform the following tasks
- Consists of cleaning floors, restrooms, and windows designated areas
- Collecting and emptying trash
- Perform routine maintenance activities.
- Dusting furniture, walls, and equipment with the flexibility to perform combined assignments.
- Not limited to vacuuming, and or as needed to keep with required standards for Health & Safety
- Comprehension and understanding of basic English, reading, writing, and oral
Requirements:
The position requires a responsible person with ability to follow directions, pay attention to detail, and work independently. Must be 21 years of age. A High School diploma or G.E.D. is not required (preferred), The ability to read, write, and communicate basic information.
Additional Requirements:
The candidate must pass required Criminal Record History Clearance, FBI and Child Abuse History Clearance, as well as possess a valid PA driver's license and maintain a good driving record throughout employment. The candidate must pass a pre-employment Physical & Drug Screening & possess the ability to attend and successfully complete all required trainings.
