Maintenance Helper - Spherion

The Maintenance Helper is responsible for performing a variety of general maintenance tasks to keep the facility in good operating condition. This position will assist in the repair and maintenance of building systems, equipment and grounds. Duties include basic plumbing, painting, cleaning and other duties as needed. The Maintenance Helper must be able to work independently, take instructions from supervisors and use problem-solving skills to complete the required tasks. This position requires the ability to lift and carry equipment and materials, and to be able to work in a variety of settings.

Responsibilities:
*Perform preventative maintenance, by greasing, oiling, cleaning all types of equipment
*Perform basic building maintenance
*Changing light bulbs
*Minor plumbing repairs
*Tire Changing
*Painting walls, columns, lines and other surfaces or markings as needed
*Watering batteries (requires the ability to drive all equipment)

Working hours: 4:00 PM - 12:40 PM

Skills:
*Ability to use all kinds of saws, grinders, drills, hand tools
*Use basic measurement skills
*Ability to climb ladders and use lifts

Education:
No Degree Required

Experience:
0-1 years

Qualifications:
*Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds
*Must be flexible to work all shifts and weekends as needed
