About the Job
PRODUCTION MAINTENANCE HELPER ASSISTS IN THE UPKEEP AND REPAIR OF MACHINERY AND EQUIPMENT IN A MANUFACTURING OR PRODUCTION ENVIRONMENT.Assist Technicians: Support maintenance technicians in troubleshooting and repairing machinery.
Routine Inspections: Conduct regular inspections of equipment to identify potential issues.
Preventive Maintenance: Help with preventive maintenance tasks to ensure machinery operates efficiently.
Cleaning and Organization: Maintain cleanliness in the work area and organize tools and supplies.
Documentation: Keep records of maintenance activities and report on equipment status.
Safety Compliance: Follow safety protocols and assist in ensuring a safe working environment.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in maintenance or related fields is a plus.
Experience: Previous experience in a maintenance or production environment is helpful but not always required.
Mechanical Skills: Basic understanding of mechanical systems and tools.
Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues.
