Job Summary:
The Maintenance Helper will assist the Maintenance Technician team with day-to-day upkeep, repairs, and preventative maintenance tasks to support smooth operations in a manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for someone looking to build foundational skills in maintenance while working alongside experienced professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist Maintenance Technicians with routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment.
• Perform basic tasks such as cleaning, lubricating, and organizing tools and equipment.
• Support in troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues under the guidance of senior maintenance staff.
• Assist in maintaining accurate records of completed work and parts used.
• Help with equipment adjustments and minor repairs to improve functionality and efficiency.
• Adhere to safety procedures and maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in maintenance or related field is a plus.
• Basic understanding of mechanical tools and equipment.
• Ability to follow directions and work cooperatively with a team.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to learning.
• Physical ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs, and work in various physical positions.
• Prior experience in a maintenance, construction, or manufacturing setting is preferred but not required.
