This role is crucial to keeping our nursery, display gardens, and growing/production fields in pristine condition, and it requires experience, expertise, and a strong work ethic.

Key Responsibilities:

• General Maintenance: Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on facilities, equipment, and structures, ensuring everything is in top condition.
• Groundskeeping: Take charge of the upkeep of our display gardens and fields, including mowing, trimming, planting, and overall landscape care.
• Irrigation Management: Oversee and repair irrigation systems to ensure optimal water distribution to all plants.
• Handyman Tasks: Utilize your skills to handle a variety of maintenance and repair tasks, requiring flexibility and problem-solving abilities.
• Collaboration: Work closely with our horticultural and operations teams to meet high standards for our grounds and facilities.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Previous work experience as a handyman or contractor is required. This is not an entry-level position—only those with proven expertise should apply.
• Skills: A comprehensive understanding of maintenance practices, with the ability to work independently and efficiently. Familiarity with tools and equipment is essential.
• Certifications: Certifications in areas such as plumbing, electrical work, or landscaping are highly valued.
• Physical Fitness: The role demands physical strength and stamina, including the ability to lift heavy objects, work outdoors in various weather conditions, and perform manual labor.
• Bilingual: Being bilingual is a plus and will be highly regarded in this role.
• References: A minimum of three professional references is required to verify your experience and skills.
