Maintenance and Facilities Coordinator - Chick-fil-A

The ideal candidate will be trained in janitorial and equipment maintenance work.

Skills:

• Must be self-motivated and can work independently completing tasks with little/no supervision

• Candidates will take personal pride in treating the restaurant as their own, keeping up cleanliness and safety standards of the restaurant.

This is a new role! Candidate will need to be FLEXIBLE in working through responsibilities and systems.

Responsibilities:

• Candidate will need to be FLEXIBLE in working through responsibilities and systems
• Candidate must enjoy LEARNING new equipment. This will involve reading manuals, reviewing schematics, and calling manufacturers
• Maintenance of trash and debris within and throughout Facility.
• EQUIPMENT INCLUDES a broad range: from fryers, to toasters, to refrigeration, to ovens, to food warmers, to food mixers, to dishwasher, to ice machines, to beverage dispensers, to floor scrubber, and MUCH MORE
• MAINTENANCE INCLUDES a broad range: HVAC Preventative Maintenance (P&M), roof maintenance, painting, caulking, grouting, power washing, limited welding, limited electrical, limited plumbing, and MUCH MORE
• MISCELLANEOUS equipment/ maintenance includes: irrigation system, vent hood cleaning, various equipment CLEANING window cleaning, door sweep/ gasket, seating, fly prevention lights, drains, fire extinguishers, and MUCH MORE
• Must appreciate COST and TIME EFFICIENCY
• A primary goal of this position is to reduce the cost and various effects of a poorly maintained building and equipment
• The facilities manager works in his area of expertise while allowing our restaurant operations team to focus on leading their teams
• Assist in utility positions when needed and finished with daily tasks (ie. dishes, trash, bathrooms, etc.)

Salary: starting from $17 per hour

Job Type: Full-time, Part-time

Schedule: Mon-Sat, Late night/overnight work required

Experience level: 1 year (required)
