Maintenance Engineer - Vogrinc Search Group

Seeking a talented Maintenance Engineer with preventive maintenance program success in an industrial manufacturing setting. This person will coordinate maintenance activities for production machinery and equipment, facility, and grounds of a two-shift manufacturing plant. In addition, this person will drive a preventive maintenance culture, monitoring process performance and implementing improvements to enhance productivity and quality while partnering with production to optimize the plant layout.

Responsibilities include:

• Act as a liaison between maintenance and production teams to ensure seamless operations and participate in cross-functional meetings to discuss maintenance schedules, production targets, and process improvements.
• Implement and maintain a Preventive Maintenance process for all equipment at the facility. Align maintenance and repair services with manufacturer instructions, recommended maintenance schedules, and established procedures, including specialized service.
• Conduct regular maintenance inspections of facility and grounds and provide a summary of recommendations and related programs to leadership.
• Work with maintenance technicians to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues and schedule and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance activities for all manufacturing equipment. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and spare parts inventory.
• Develop and maintain training materials and documentation for maintenance and operational procedures. Train staff on equipment operation, maintenance procedures, and safety protocols and analyze process data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
• Support annual improvement targets through implementation of process improvements that increase manufacturing efficiency. Analyze and plan workflow and space requirements and optimize plant/equipment layout to improve manufacturing process flow.
• Monitor production processes to ensure all maintenance and operational activities adhere to company safety policies and regulations and conduct regular safety audits/inspections to maintain a safe working environment.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or a related field preferred; or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years of experience in maintenance coordination, preventive maintenance programs, and process management in an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Sound knowledge of industrial manufacturing methods and procedures and Lean manufacturing.
• Demonstrated knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and maintenance best practices and proficient in using maintenance management software and data analysis tools.
• Results-driven with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities and a record of identifying and implementing process improvements.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. English/Spanish bilingual a plus.
