Production Supervisor - 35076 at Activ8

An automotive parts manufacturer near the La Salle, IL area is searching for a Production Supervisor. You will be overseeing the production team and all production activities.  The ideal candidate will have previous experience within a manufacturing environment.

This is a full-time position with excellent benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401 (K), paid holidays & vacation.

Responsibilities Include:

• Supervision of production team (timekeeping, scheduling, etc.)
• Production planning and scheduling
• Assisting in production process improvement

Requirements Include:

• Minimum 2-3 years’ supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
• Understanding of continuous improvement processes
• Communication and leadership ability in a multicultural environment

This position includes manufacturing and warehousing work environment. While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 25 pounds, lift in excess of 30 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts/equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear. You may also be required to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision.
