This person must be able to work well with others and independently, and with minimal supervision. Interested candidate(s) must be able to problem solve mechanical and electrical issues.
Ideal candidates are Journeyman or Apprentice mechanics, Journeyman, Master or apprentice electricians. Wausau Tile is willing to invest in further education pertaining to the role. Applicants must maintain a safety first mentality in thought and action.
Job Summary:
Job functions and job duties will be primarily driven by work order requests, related duties and emergency repairs and regularly scheduled and assigned preventative maintenance.
Responsibilities will include troubleshooting malfunctioning machinery and equipment; communicating problems; providing maintenance and repair services as assigned; and accurately record and submit time-keeping and work order related paperwork.
Individual will work on a variety of machinery and equipment. Typical repair & maintenance responsibilities include both preventative maintenance and repair maintenance activities.

·Design and implement safety enhancements to the manufacturing process and equipment
·Skills expertise in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic or pneumatics work will determine the primary focus of the role.
·Troubleshooting and diagnostic work
·Repair work including: disassembly and part replacement
·Light fabrication as required to support equipment and process functionality
·Engage in annual equipment rebuild and shut down activities as needed
·Upgrade and enhance equipment or facilities as needed to drive process improvement
·Provide preventative maintenance to equipment as needed (inspection, oiling, grease, clean, document, etc.)
·Effective communication with the team is critical both on current shift and with peers and leadership on other shifts as required.
·Provide documentation as needed to complete work orders and send email as needed.
·Lead and support as required.
