Olive Recruiting is currently seeking a Maintenance Electrician (Oregon Licensed) for a prominent client in Milwaukie, OR. This role will be responsible for addressing electrical requirements by installing, repairing, replacing, and maintaining electrical equipment, fixtures, and systems. The position involves completing electrical preventative maintenance and TPM projects, as well as performing repairs and preventive maintenance on a diverse range of facility and production equipment and systems.

- Assemble and install electrical, mechanical, and electro-mechanical equipment and systems, including production machinery/fixtures.
- Execute assigned work in compliance with the National Electric Code.
- Maintain an electrical log documenting new construction work.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical and/or electro-mechanical equipment and systems, involving the isolation of malfunctions, disassembly of equipment, and repair/replacement of electrical and electronic parts and components (wiring, controllers, switches, motors, PLCs, circuit boards, relays, enclosures, etc.).
- Conduct preventive maintenance inspections and perform required preventive maintenance actions, such as electrical panel inspections, motor insulation checks, wire connections, safety devices examinations, proper operation assessments, cleaning, etc.
- Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and mechanical systems.
- May engage in non-certified welding and simple machining operations incidental to repair and maintenance tasks, as well as limited carpentry and painting.
- May have assigned duties related to carrying out the hazardous materials program.
- Program PLCs and integrate them into projects.
- Perform basic troubleshooting on CNC machine tools and may be asked to troubleshoot to higher levels if needed.
- Collaborate with engineering when asked to assist with automation projects.
- Perform various other duties as assigned.
- Proficient in programming PLCs.
- Skilled in using personal computer window applications.
- Experienced in troubleshooting machinery at a basic level and capable of troubleshooting to the component level if necessary.
- Possesses a general understanding of control systems and manufacturing machinery.
- Able to identify root causes and recommend improvements when needed.
- Demonstrates the ability to work collaboratively and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, customers, and visitors, while also being capable of working independently with limited supervision.

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Capable of facilitating activities essential to a project's completion.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Two or more years Journeyman Manufacturing Plant Electrical experience preferred.
- Current State of Oregon Limited Journeyman Manufacturing Plant License or State of Oregon General Journeyman Licensed is required.
- Two-year technical school in control systems preferred.
