Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoots and fix electrical and instrumentation problems associated with plant equipment.
- Installation of electrical equipment, including wiring.
- Fixes all electrical/instrumentation problems as assigned by maintenance manager.
- Troubleshoots electrical/instrumentation problems.
- Successful execution of this position means employee safety, reliable equipment, on-time process startups, product quality, customer satisfaction.
- Maintain quality records for the calibration of instruments.
- Assist in automation and programming of equipment to ensure product quality.
- Perform preventative maintenance on plant equipment to reduce downtime and maintain throughput to meet our customers’ expectations.
- Embraces the vision and goals of the company.
- Decision and problem solving to filter communications to the proper personnel.
- Must be able to work with others in a team environment.
- High School Diploma
- Journeyman E & I certification
- Knowledge of and experience working in a similar capacity
- Able to climb stairs (1,000+ per day) and ladders (rope, portable, and fixed ladders).
- Able to lift:
- Up to 50 lbs. repeatedly.
- Floor to waist - 65 lbs.
- Knee to chest - 65 lbs.
- Chest to overhead - 25 lbs.
- Push/Pull 100 lbs. continuous.
- Can stand and/or sit for 8-10 hours.
- Vision – Must be able to differentiate between colors and depth, read gauges and written procedures in the English language.
- Hearing – able to receive verbal instructions in case of an emergency and audio instrument alarms.
- Must be able to bend, stoop, and crouch frequently throughout shift.
- Speaking – must be able to speak and communicate clearly in the English language.
- Annual OSHA training as dictated by the Company Training Matrix.
- Appropriate seminars and workshops.
