Title: Maintenance Electrician
Shifts available: 2nd shift, 2-10pm.

Target Pay Rate: $30/hr - $36/hr

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team in our food manufacturing plant. The ideal candidate will ensure the smooth operation and maintenance of all machinery and equipment, ensuring the continuous and efficient production of high-quality food products. This role requires a strong understanding of both mechanical and electrical systems, along with the ability to troubleshoot and repair issues as they arise. The successful candidate will play a vital role in upholding our commitment to producing safe and superior food products for our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment to ensure proper functioning.
- Perform preventative maintenance, including cleaning and lubricating machinery parts.
- Identify and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and operational issues; perform repairs as needed.
- Collaborate with production and quality control teams to ensure efficient production of high-quality food products.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work, detailing replacements and repairs.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, ensuring a safe work environment.
- Order and maintain an inventory of spare parts and equipment necessary for maintenance and repairs.
- Assist in the installation of new machinery and equipment as needed.
- Provide training and support to team members on proper equipment operation and maintenance procedures.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; certification or degree in mechanical or electrical engineering is a plus.
- Proven experience as a maintenance technician in food manufacturing or a related industry.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical systems, and PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers).
- Familiarity with safety protocols and regulations in the food manufacturing industry.
- Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to perform effectively under pressure.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts and overtime as needed.
