Available shift: 2nd Shift 3:00-11:00
Responsibilities Include:
- Follow all company Safety procedures and Quality GMP's
- Self-motivated and able to work both independently and as a team.
- Maximize equipment uptime and minimize down time through preventive and corrective maintenance repair.
- Working with production team to change over machine and adjust for maximum efficiency while minimizing waste.
- Assistance in overseeing outside contractors during equipment installations or building construction.
- Participate in root cause analysis, safety design and quality improvement process.
- Work second shift, off shift and weekends as needed.
- Ability to routinely perform strenuous physical labor.
- Ability to work at heights.
- Ability to work in a cold environment.
The ideal candidate
- Prior maintenance experience in the food industry is a plus.
- Maintains and troubleshoots all equipment including but not limited to PLCs, VFDs, Switchgear and motors.
- Working knowledge of PLC and the ability to troubleshoot using a computer.
- Utilize the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to assist in the development and the execution and follow-up on maintenance activities.
- Perform routine and non-routine electrical maintenance tasks.
- Ability to use electrical prints and multimeters to perform electrical troubleshooting.
- Ac/Dc circuits. 3 phase power.
- HVAC and Refrigeration.
- High school diploma or a GED.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
- Must have excellent attention to detail.
Pay depends on experience. $30.00-$35.00 per hour.
