Overview:
As the Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of all equipment and systems at the manufacturing plant. Your primary focus will be on managing a team of skilled technicians and ensuring that all equipment, including robotics, conveyors, and automation systems, are maintained and optimized for maximum productivity. Accountability is a crucial aspect of this role, as you will be responsible for meeting key performance indicators, managing budgets, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities:
* Oversee the daily operations of the maintenance department, ensuring that all equipment and systems are functioning at optimal levels
* Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and improve overall equipment effectiveness
* Manage a team of skilled technicians, providing training, guidance, and performance evaluations to support their professional growth and development
* Collaborate with other departments to identify and implement process improvements that will enhance productivity and efficiency
* Develop and manage maintenance budgets, ensuring that all expenditures are within approved limits
* Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
* Ensure that all maintenance activities comply with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations

Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field
* 5+ years of experience in maintenance management, preferably within the heavy industry manufacturing sector
* Demonstrated expertise in robotics, conveyors, and automation equipment
* Strong leadership and team management skills
* Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
* Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
* Proficient in computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and related software tools
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field
* 5+ years of experience in maintenance management, preferably within the heavy industry manufacturing sector
* Demonstrated expertise in robotics, conveyors, and automation equipment
* Strong leadership and team management skills
* Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
* Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
* Proficient in computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and related software tools
Preferences:
* Master's degree in Engineering or related field
* Experience in a casting or similar manufacturing environment
* Certification in maintenance management or related field (e.g., CMRP, MMP, or CMM)
* Experience with ISO 9001 and other industry-specific quality standards
