Maintenance Director - Confidential - Skilled Nursing Facility

Duties:

• Oversee all operations and personnel within the maintenance department.
• Conduct regular inspections of the facility to ensure safety, cleanliness, proper maintenance, and optimal equipment performance.
• Supervise maintenance staff, assigning tasks and managing schedules to ensure efficient operations.
• Plan, schedule, and ensure the timely completion of all maintenance tasks and repairs.
• Oversee both in-house and contracted maintenance work, ensuring all services are completed promptly and to standard.
• Maintain detailed records of repairs, preventive maintenance activities, warranties, and inspections.
• Manage department budgets and monitor spending to ensure financial efficiency.
• Ensure all maintenance work adheres to State/Federal regulations and OSHA standards.
• Be available for on-call emergency response as needed.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general maintenance.
• Previous supervisory experience in a healthcare maintenance environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong work ethic, a proactive approach, and commitment to delivering high-quality service.
• Proficient in computer applications, including MS Office.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, maintain focus, and perform well under pressure.
• Demonstrated leadership and supervisory skills, with a track record of effectively managing a team.
